Mr. Philip Thomas is an educationist with more than two decades of work experience across various states in India. "To teach is to touch one's life"-this has been the guiding philosophy for him and as an educationist, he believes that teaching is an opportunity to create a positive impact on a student's life by carefully curating their career path and making them successful professionals. In his career span, he was instrumental in molding the careers of more than ten thousand students. In 1996, he started his career as a designer and in the last 25 years, he has witnessed the growth of the Indian creative industry. Considering his experience in skill development he was appointed as Advisor for Media and Entertainment Skill Council, Skill India Project, Government of India. His expertise is utilized by many government agencies including the Kerala Institute of Local Administration ( KILA), and the Government of Kerala.
His exposure to the creative industry helped him build a good network within the Indian creative industry as well as with Hollywood artists. He was fortunate to interact and travel along with Oscar award-winning experts which give him a good insight into the Hollywood industry.
...He has conducted career guidance seminars in hundreds of venues for leading media houses like Malayala Manorama and Mathrubhumi. Besides that, he has been interviewed by All India Radio, Leading TV channels, and Newspapers and written articles in THE WEEK and a few other publications.
